It's too hot to function.
Old hat
Yesterday, my husband and I met up with my parents at a place downtown and ate some lunch, to celebrate Independence Day (which I will begrudgingly work) and my dad's birthday, and much to my sadness, no one else wanted to eat outside under a covered patio. I mean, I get it, it's 92 and the sun is harsh, but we're under a canopy! I'm the kind of person who loves to eat outside, especially downtown.
Only a few photos of this "layered for the sake of fashion" outfit because it was so hot. These were taken at 2 PM in 92 degree heat. Direct sunlight and black do not mix and I should have worn something more summer appropriate. I layered a thin black tiered dress over a thin white ruffle off the shoulder blouse and belted it to define the waist, and then added a hat and boots because I'm me and I just have to do that.
Stay cool!
