White after Labor Day?

Fashion rules aren't something I really pay attention to. If I did, I probably wouldn't be into fashion, considering fashion rules are centered around thin bodies, and I don't have that.

September is coming to an end, and speaking of which, happy Autumn! It's officially fall and like millions of other people out there, fall is my favorite season. I say that every year, but, genuinely, I love the colors, smells, feeling and environment of fall. It's just very me.

Lace, to me, is a 3 season textile. I wouldn't wear it in winter (maybe as an accent) but it's definitely fit for all the other seasons. White may lean towards the warmer seasons, but when you pair white lace with more inherently fall things, you can really make it look like it's for fall!

Floral and gingham...does it work together? I think so! I paired this top with a brown gingham dress, that I'm wearing as a skirt here, and I think the small floral print works with the large brown gingham. What do you think?

I should preface this by saying that I don't think I look spicy in this outfit--spicy meaning sexually attractive--but I do like it a lot!

I know my style leans very feminine and girly, which is definitely me, but, I don't know, this pandemic and constant social distancing and quarantine had made me feel like I want to emerge from this as a sexier person. Not that this outfit is sexy, and not that I want people to sexualize it. In fact, please don't.

Black and goldenrod yellow are a color combination so good that it exists in nature.

This is such an unexpectedly comfortable outfit! Though, I don't find skirts or dresses uncomfortable anyway, so maybe I'm an outlier.

When you match on accident but also on purpose...

When I paired this linen dress with this pleated skirt, I never imagined that the rosey brown color of the skirt and the burnt orange of the dress would make for an almost monotone look. They aren't the exact same color, but they go together so well that it almost looks like they could be. I paired it with brown accessories to ground the outfit in a more neutral direction and I have to say, I really love this. Do I need to steam this dress? Absolutely, but wrinkles included, what a look!

I love a sheer dramatic sleeve and nowhere to wear it to.

I still don't know what possessed me to but this coreset inspired sheer sleeve top off of Depop, but, I'm not mad at it! I think I like it paired better with skirts rather than with jeans, but hey, you don't know until you try!

I see girls wearing tied up shirts and slit skirts all the time on Instagram and so I decided to try it out myself and I look cute? And cool? And hot?

It's still summer, even if September has arrived, and it's still hot. It may not be 90 degrees Fahrenheit, cook an egg outside hot, but, it's still humid and sunny, so, I can't pretend I'm wearing sweaters outside. I just can't.
