Last weekend, Tony took me to an apple orchard and pumpkin patch, because though I'm Midwest born, I'm definitely not Midwest bred, so, I had never experienced one before.

It's late in the apple season, so we didn't get to really pick any apples, but the smell was amazing, and the rows and rows of trees were so cool to walk down and look at! I didn't realize apple trees weren't that tall, or at least these weren't.

It was a chilly day--those are common now--so I went with a red buffalo plaid blouse tucked into a lack pleated mini skirt, black tights and brown knee high boots. I balanced the brown boots with a brown hat and I felt like I fit right in with the whole apple picking theme. I swear, look at Pinterest, it's all plaid, denim and brown.
