Ruffles and Shoulders

Sometimes you buy an item and go "oh" when you put it on. That was me with this dress, worn as a top here. I bought in on thredUP (with the previously worn pink blouse) and I swear, I thought it was an off the shoulder dress, but, it's an one shoulder dress and I was a little disappointed. Not in thredUP, or the item itself, but in me, for not being able to see or read correctly. You see, I'm not into asymmetrical things, and an one shoulder top is by definition, asymmetrical. I tried wearing it as a tube top, which works, but I lack the support to really keep a tube top up, so, one shoulder it is.

I styled this dress as a top for a more cool weather outfit. Short skirts and dresses are a definite warm weather vibe and though it looks like it should be warm, it's chilly still!
