An outfit consisting of a straw boater hat with black satin ribbons not tied, a white button down blouse with the first two buttons unbottoned and the sleeves folded up tucked into a mustard yellow pleated midi skirt and white mules.

It's not super obvious, but, I am inspired by the late 1910s and 1940s silhouette with clothing. I'm not idealizing the times, don't get me wrong, I just like the silhouette! This isn't a real rendition of that, but, to me, it has the vibe.

This button down blouse is originally from Lane Bryant, but, I got it from thredUp. I don't actually own any traditional, basic, blouses like this, so, I thought it would be a nice addition! I paired it with a thrifted yellow skirt and a straw hat for some casual but put together summer vibes.
