Late Summer Linen

August is rapidly coming to an end, and on one hand, I'm begging the year to slow down to let me enjoy what I can of it, but on the other hand, I'm screaming at it to go faster so this nightmare of a year is behind us. I know we can all relate.

This is my late summer ode to the upcoming fall season. It's a linen dress in an ochre color that I belted with a brown belt and coordinated that brown with my trusty d'orsay flats and brown panama hat for a monochrome look. At the last moment, I noticed the tie to what I have affectionately called the "Boobie Dress" matches this dress pretty fantastically, so, I tied it under the collar for a pop of black.
