Yellow and pink, I know I know! But, can you blame me? It's a match made in heaven.
We have been socially distancing for a little over 5 months now, and it does get easier the longer you do it. I remember thinking in March that it was going to suck to do this until Memorial Day (how foolish was I?!) and now I've sworn off eating at restaurants for the rest of 2020 and we've come to the conclusion that Thanksgiving and Christmas are no-gos this year. Congregating with families in tight places? Not going to happen, Ms Rona, nice try. Though we've resigned ourselves to staying in and only going out for groceries, it doesn't mean I'm not longing to go out and just be out. But, I understand and realize that my wants do not matter when it comes to the wellbeing of our country. Over 160,000 people have died in the US from COVID-19, and I don't want to contribute to that heartbreaking and mostly preventable total.
