Thrifted Hat
And the winner of the worst outfit to wear to a pumpkin patch is...this one! Honestly, I don't know what possessed me to wear a long flowy skirt when it was a windy day and I had to walk between patches of still connected to the ground pumpkins. I got a ton of those little prickly plant things all over me and though it didn't hurt, it wasn't fun taking them off my skirt.
This past week, my husband and I went to a local orchard who also has a pumpkin patch, and picked some pumpkins for our front porch. It was a lot of fun, as it always is, and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to take stylized photos of each other for the sake of the occasion. We do seasonal photo changes on our social media for fun, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to take some!
I recently bought an orange beret on Depop and I had to wear it to the pumpkin patch, come on! It was a warm fall day, and so, I paired an off the shoulder blouse under this basic black crepe sleeveless dress I got from ThredUP awhile back, and then, added a black pleated midi skirt, since it has a defined waist and the dress doesn't. I also have black Chelsea boots on, but they aren't pictured.
It was a really great time, and it was very easy to socially distance. We only passed by people two times, and both times, we had masks on, and we were all more than 12 feet from each other. I'm looking forward to other outside fall activities!
