How to wear black, my way. I own black, of course, but over the years, and especially in 2020, where I had the time to really hone in to my colorful and cohesive style, black has been replaced by brown as a grounding and neutral color. But, I'd be a liar if I didn't say that black was a color I appreciate it!

I like to wear black as a texture, like in this outfit. The wool of the hat with the vinyl of the top and the faux leather of the skirt are cohesive but also different enough to keep the eye entertained. The white blouse helps, too, of course, with it's giant bow, but the star of the show is definitely the different textures of black.
