Thrifted Hat
Buying secondhand online is a gamble. For sure.
The near entirety of my wardrobe is secondhand and sometimes you get some duds. And sometimes, you get items that are not at all what they're supposed to be. This skirt is supposed to be a midi--I know midi is kind of subjective and I am on the short side of the spectrum, but midi? This is a maxi. And, it wasn't supposed to be this shade of yellow, and it wasn't meant to be elasticized, or have a scalloped hem, or have the laser cut details. The seller is not helpful considering they say it's what I bought, but the skirt is cute, so I'm not necessarily upset. It just feels like something you can buy off the rack of Forever 21, so you win some gambles, you lose some gambles, and sometimes you win things you didn't expect.
