She knows that real Parisian women don't wear berets and she'd never be caught dead in the streets in one, but she couldn't deny the pop of color hers gives the outfit. She'll be the first to arrive and the last to leave, and she'll say your fresh baked crusty loaf is better than the French boulangerie she frequents. She's lying a little but, you accept the compliment anyway.

Hostess with the Mostest - she's opened her house for you all to gather for Friendsgiving, and she prepared everything for you without even looking like she broke a sweat. She also owns like, 30 cookbooks and has cute glassware, so you know her food is great. A turtleneck is a classic and mature sweater choice, but the burnt orange tiered maxi skirt is playful and thematic without being too much. It's a pumpkin pie, it's a sweet potato casserole, it's harvest.
